The Morgan County ARES team has a complete radio station at the EMA office in case of an emergency. Our members are all licensed amateur radio operators trained in how to handle emergency communications.

e Morgan County ARES team normally meets the first Saturday of each month from 10-Noon Eastern at the Morgan County E911. Scheduling conflicts prevented our in-person training sessions. Check into the Morgan County NET for the latest updates. The Morgan County ARES NET happens every Monday at 7pm ET on the 147.255 repeater system with a PL 94.8 which is now required.

We are looking to fill the vacancy for the county Emergency Coordinator (EC) which is an ARRL appointed position.
